OK, a lot of people have been talking about the whole Jark/Spyed etc. fiasco. A dev-friend of mine, whose integrity respect has even left over it...

Tell you what, a lot of those comments have been how deviantart has become a faceless corporation run by money-hungy fascists. This is not important. Deviantart has left us the mechanics and tools to show our art-work to anyone who takes the time to come and look at it. FOR FREE. We do not have to subscribe, and do so only if we feel that the benefits are worthwhile. If you see it this way, the only one losing out over all of this is Jark; nothing else changes. We can only hope he lands on his feet...

So-

Fuck the quest for hundreds of pageviews

Fuck the thoughts that this is unheaval

Fuck anyone who thinks that we have been cheated- Jark has been cheated

Fuck Angelo

Fuck money

Fuck society induced mind-control

I see ur a mate of Matt Sloan's so I'm stopping in to say gday :) (and also waste a few minutes while no one realises I have nothing to do at work... yay) so, hi! haha. Forgive me though if I do not look properly at your work for a while, from what's on your front page at the moment I think I may be better off to wait until after I've eaten my lunch. Haha.

Pretty good, man. I HAVE been practicing. Realised I didn't know any scales. I've got major, minor and major 7th formations down. Thought I had minor 7th, but it sounds really wrong. I think it's like a raised 13th thing I was doing or something. Sounds cool, but when the chord says Cm7, I couldn't do it.

my advice is listen like hell. learn scales arpeggios and learn how to walk... walking bass is the foundation of alot of jazz. keeping it coherent is a big thing, knowing what to emphasise, and most importantly knowing the changes and the structure :D

usually it would work: head twice, solos, head - coda. thats fairly typical.

anyway, good luck :)
